This collection of paintings features highly textured beach or sea scenes. Unusual mixed media has been used to create drama, a wow factor and a powerful statement. These paintings are painstakingly created over a long period of time.

This piece showcases a scene from South Devon, near to Salcombe- a favourite childhood holiday haunt of the artist. Textured rocky headland features in the foreground with the calming, hypnotic effect of the sea behind. Gloss resin has been applied over the sea to give the appearance of water. A rich coloured sky completes the picture.
