Painted from life from flowers arranged by the artist. Features two "Teddy Bear" type sunflowers with many small petals giving them a "fuzzy" look, one traditional sunflower with a dark center, and one large lily flower with double petals in shades of pale pink and mauve to white in the center. The arrangement is also accented by pink and red zinnias, purple statice, and a background of textured brushstrokes in pale green, dark green, and purple. Painted in oil on board with both palette knife and brush. The shapes of the flower petals are enhanced by thickly textured paint. Framed in a 3" wide wood frame with an expresso-black finish and gold inner edge. May be purchased unframed by request.
