I am an aesthete, a lover of beauty, like the painters of the past I pursue beauty in all its being. The dominant theme of my compositions is the female body, reproduced in dreamy, sensual attitudes, lost in the world of dreamy dreams. Memories photographed in the mind, memories for all that one has loved and greedily desired. Female bodies, naked, as you can see, never offensive, never vulgar. I imagined this painting, placing a female figure, my favourite model and life companion, creating an extravagant scenography, and theatrical sense. THE EAGLE is the representation of our fears, descending menacingly, to disturb the peaceful sleep of the protagonist.
I use, as usual, the mixed technique with enamel and acrylic colours on digital processing of a photograph of mine printed on canvas, finally treated with clear varnish to make it resistant and long-lasting. Supplied with elegant frame. Authentic work executed by me in eight copies.
