Original artwork description:

'Full Moon' is the result of playing around with gesso and ink. I have always loved working on textured board and the gentle subtleties that can be achieved. Initial experiments were too heavy and a bit muddy but I feel I have achieved the bright but dreamy twilight quality I was aiming for in this little miniature piece. The moon this year has been so stunning in the dark summer evening skies that I could not fail to be inspired. I have framed it in a white-washed rustic frame which works well with this subject and its textured quality.
