Calm on the outside but bursting with hidden power, this painting is built on several layers to achieve the right nuances of color and texture. Like most of my work, it explores the boundary between the concrete and the metaphysical. Although purely abstract, my art is often inspired by the Icelandic landscape's colors, rhythms, and seasons.
