Salt dough is a very old material used to shape small decorative sculptures. This technique was already practiced by the Egyptians. Today, it remains a tradition in the countries to the east of Europe, mainly in Germany and Russia.
The paste used for my creations is made up only of natural products, flour, salt and water.
The sculptures are air-dried for several days and then baked very slowly at various temperatures for four hours.
The coloring is the result of oven drying. No dyes are used. The finish, natural appearance, crude, like a stone is obtained by a salt or milk glaze during cooking.
This work of art is framed with pine wood that is not varnished in order to preserve the natural appearance.
It is ready to hang with two hooks at the back.
It will be delivered to you, carefully packed with a certificate of authenticity signed by me.
