This painting/ title were inspired by the couple of weeks I’ve just spent back in the US, basking in the company of Family and Friends… Returning to a favorite subject- Flowers and Fruit- I suppose reflected my feeling of “Coming Home”. Moving toward looser, more abstracted ways of depicting this subject, was not something I considered, but arrived naturally… This Canvas is painted around the edges, so that the piece can be hung, unframed…
