Original artwork description:

Colour is the key element in this simple arrangement of shapes on a striped canvas chair. A bunch of grapes and a couple of oranges bought at a local market in the south of Sicily made for a lively still life composition. The strong light and bright complementary colour, I think has captured the Mediterranean easy-going way of life.

Framed with a plain wood frame and a textured slip and cord, ready to hang.

Materials used:

Oil paint
