Original artwork description:

For a few days January was very cold with frosts that stayed all day. The coldness and hard ground inspired me to create this painting to symbolise an early start on a cold day when the welcome sun clears away the clouds for a bright day. Painted on a Burnt Sienna ground. Edges are finished to tone in with the painting. Signed bottom right in pencil titled signed and dated on the reverse. Shipped carefully packed with an artist’s certificate, shipped with a track and trace identity.
