In winter, any motive in nature is more graphic, since white snow increases the contrast, makes it possible to work with the silhouette of an object, a tree, or a house. But sunsets are softer, colors are softer, and temperatures are dropping. You have to paint quickly, both because it is cold, and because the sunset is very rapid.
