Autumn and winter a time of reflection and hibernation. Animals and plants retract, getting ready for the colder months. The landscape around us changes slowly into earthy colours. A rainy day full of mist, fog and wind, sometimes a slushy snow mix settles on the ground.

In this series of paintings I have tried to capture the essence of autumn and winter, letting the paint dry in layers and leaving hints of natural shapes in the landscape. Gold leaf has been added to certain areas to enhance and give depth.

Painted with oil on canvas ready to hang on the wall. You can also frame the painting should you wish to.

The painting is signed on the back, and I will also provide you with a certificate of authenticity.
