Original artwork description:

This large mixed media painting a continuation of a series of paintings I started many years ago that document my walks around and near the town. It is inspired by a walk I don't make very often. This walk takes me through woodlands that are quite high above the coastline. When I reach the highest point my view falls upon the coastal town below.

It is as though I am a bird looking down upon the world below. My abstract painting describes the town, the rooftops, streets and houses big and small. Many of the houses are Victorian connected by alleyways with back yards. The roads lead from the main high street of shops and cafes. Some houses are bigger with lawned gardens. The manmade structures placed within nature and sitting just beyond, the estuary......

The painting has lots of textures and has been signed on the side and is fitted with chord ready to hang. The sides are painted white so no need for framing.
