Original artwork description:

This drawing/ painting is created through using Indian Ink and Bideford Black mineral on postcard. This painting explores the memory of walking along the shoreline of the West Somerset coastline from Minehead to Watchet, bringing together some of the various landscapes that can be seen in the area, from hills to shoreline.

The painting was created through the zen process of allowing the liquids to flow where they wanted to go with the intervention of the artist and some resist from other materials to form the landscape. It seems through the process the image created what appears to be two boats at the bottom near n imagined shoreline with the hills of the Quantocks in the distance.

Materials used:

Indian Ink, Bideford Black, Bristol Channel Seawater, Postcard.
