This large mixed media painting is part of an ongoing series of works informed by my many walks through the countryside and woodland beside the Dee estuary.
I sometimes wonder what it must be like to be a bird, able to look down from the trees and the highest branches to the world below. So different to our view of the landscape that surrounds us.
It has lots of different textures and interesting marks. This artwork has white painted sides so no need for framing and has been fitted with chord so is ready to hang. It has been signed on the side and sealed with a matt acrylic varnish.
