Original artwork description:

“From the Darkness” is an ethereal abstract seascape oil painting 20 x 40cm (8 x 16 inches) on a 2cm (0.5 inch) deep canvas. Painted after spending time in Cornwall on a clear Autumn night when the Harvest moon was shining brightly onto the dark sea. The title is from the song by Robyn Hitchcock.

It's painted only in black and white. The paint is layered and blended and the texture of the surface of the canvas has a slight glossy sheen. The painting continues around the sides of the artwork and it is signed on the back. It’s ready to hang and comes with a signed and dated Certificate of Authenticity.
