When you stand on Southwold Pier, wind blowing in your hair and your jumper not thick enough, you feel as though you are travelling in the sea to the town. Of course you're not really because the lighthouse never gets any nearer, but that is the feeling I tried to capture in this painting. Done in soft blues and browns and greys this painting has a timeless feel to it.
Painted with oil paints on board in an impressionist style. Unframed.
Shipping: Held tightly between two boards with corner protectors and wrapped in bubble wrap before being enclosed in a sturdy mailer. Tracked and insured.
