I painted this directly from my studio window. I am lucky enough to watch the sun go down but it gets dark so early I have to work quick on a ready prepared canvas and then look in a new night the following morning. I am essenetially a colourist and am always getting comments on the wonderful combination of colours I use. I follow my heart.
