Artwork description:

A view from the village of Addingham across the valley to Beamsley Beacon. The foreground shows some of the houses on Kitty Fold, in addition to the Fleece pub and the Memorial hall.

Beamsley Beacon Cairn forms an impressive mound, twelve metres in diameter and over two metres high, and is thought to be constructed during the bronze age as funeral structure.

This view can be seen from the Dales Way, as you walk along the River Wharfe.

This was my first large scale print and is the first in this style that I am currently working in. This is a 2nd edition as the 1st edition was only 25 and has pretty much sold out. I have put much more detail into this new print, the colours are similar but not the same, and in edition I had a slight problem with alignment and so most have been slightly hand touched - So probably not for you purist collectors! But it does make each print more individual and unique.

A 12 colour hand pulled silk screen print in A1 size. A limited edition of 49.

Materials used:

Italian Canaletto Bianco 300gsm paper, Acrylic paint
