Painting " FROM DREAMS " from the cycle "Solomon's Paradox".
There are only 18 paintings in the "Paradox of Solomon" series of paintings, divided into three blocks: "Attack", "Escape" and "Stupor". This work is from the second part of Escape. It's all about my escape thoughts, polling people on this topic and their reactions to this question on social media. In general, in the paintings, there is a white circle in the center of the canvas, a bubble, symbolizing the limited worldview of the hero. In the center of this circle is a human silhouette with fuzzy edges. This blur creates the dynamics of movement in vacuum white space.
The outer part of the paintings is different every time. This artwork has the sea in the background. Deep blue, azure, translucent colors of the sea that combine with the sky. Sea waves raise the golden fine sand of the beach in the foreground of the picture. The person in the center seems isolated, limited by his own fear and does not notice what kind of paradise he is in. She runs from dreams to other dreams, because she does not notice that what she dreamed about has already become her reality.
The painting is simple, minimalist and at the same time poses a thought-provoking question: is running a way of survival? or perhaps an invitation to stop and face what we are really running from?
