Several disconnected figurative entities compete for the viewer's attention in this play for individual importance played out on a foggy, contemporary-feeling landscape of anxiety and obfuscation. The work, purely from imagination, seeks to engender strong emotional sensations emitted from made-up but authentic-feeling bodies and faces floating in a flat and anchorless atmosphere that feels simultaneously specific and universal, thus addressing the human condition as it appears to me at this time.
