I was lucky enough to stay in Achmore on the Isle of Lewis a couple of years ago, and this is the view we had from our cottage. It changed everyday - sometimes the mountains were shrouded in mist, sometimes obscured by rain, but on this particular evening the sun was shining and reflecting off the lochs and lighting up the distant mountains. An absolutely beautiful place.
This oil painting is on a 38mm deep box canvas. It is supplied unframed. The sides of the canvas are painted white so it can be hung as it is, or framed if preferred.
The painting is varnished to protect it from light and dust.
