DESCRIPTION: From Above has to do with a free exploration of texture, specifically land texture. Large areas of light beige, to light blue, and then some spots of rich deep blue color captures the viewer's eye and travels the imagination to an unspoken world. A statement piece of art, created during the first days of this year.

MATERIALS: It is painted with high quality acrylic paint on hand stretched Italian canvas (280gr. quality. A thin layer of varnish protects the artwork against UV light and dust.

SIGNATURE: It is signed in front and back and accompanied with certificate of authenticity.

READY TO HANG: It is unframed, but ready to hang for it is painted on the edges and it is wired.

"Nature, colors and materials inspire me the most. I follow the potentials of the materials, in a free, gestural process, which reminds of free associations in psychotherapy and meditation. I see one point and the whole, almost at the same time, again and again. I release and I hold, add and erase, again and again. I usually use acrylic combined with pigments. I work layer after layer, creating transparencies, revealing the best textures and design elements; I bring into being a unique and mysterious atmosphere, in a dynamic and passionate manner, full of energy, close to abstract expressionism".
