Signed oil on canvas painting of a vase of yellow roses. This floral still life with apples in the foreground has been painted in yellows and complimentary mauves. The work has expressive gestural brush strokes in a limited palate with contrasting muted and vibrant tones. The artwork is painted on a square deep edge canvas and comes ready to hang. The sides are white.

The painting is inspired by a bunch of roses gifted to my father by a visitor. The colours were just so bright and vibrant I just had to paint them. Simply put the painting is inspired by the symbolism of the yellow rose. Yellow rose is for friendship.
