Original artwork description:
A plein air painting I made during the summer of one of the well known tree clumps in the Ashdown Forest. This particular clump sits at one of the highest points of the forest and I have captured this with distant hills and light shining through the clump. I've used greens with a hint of blue to describe the cool, evergreen nature of the Scots Pines.
