Watercolor with ink painting inspired by the photograph of the iconic Mexican surrealist artist Frida Kahlo. I have been living in Mexico for two years and now can understsnd the origin of art creating ny Frida Kahlo. This is the mix of Spanish and Indian cultures with a huge part of mystical and religious influences. I tried to express it in my portrait. This piece is created in sumi-e ink wash painting technique with adding white acrylic paint.
