Artwork description:

This is another drawing/print/painting of Frida in a peasant blouse with her wild, antique jewelry. I love Mexican necklaces, and I love that Frida embraced her Mexican heritage. She was authentic before authentic became a catchword.

I drew this image onto linoleum, carved out the negative space, printed it, and colored it in with watercolor and gouache.
