When the sun comes out at springtime in the French Alps you can guarantee fishermen will be lakeside as the ice is melting. I was on a skiing holiday when I took this shot of a French angler enjoying his lunch on a beautiful spring day.

As with all my images of this size, this is dry mounted on a backing board to avoid wrinkling in future.
