'Fresh Air' was inspired by the works of Joan Mitchell and the emotional intensity of her painting technique. In this painting, the energy of Joyce's brushwork on the canvas is the focus. Using professional acrylic paint in values of teal, aquamarine, taupe, grey, white, and gold, this work is an expression of simplicity and freshness. The painting is continued to include the sides of the canvas wrap.

This work is ready to hang with wire.

A thin layer of Liquitex Professional Satin Varnish has been applied for protection.
