Original artwork description:

Fresco is a collage on a wooden box (see detail photographs) which is ready to hang.
I added felt stickers to the back of the wood to protect your wall from the wax.
The Corona virus also takes effects on artists. While dealing with the lockdown and the uniformity of life I started working in a different technique - drawing under wax!
By now I created quite a few and this one - Fresco - is one of them.
Drawing on Chinese silk paper or Wenzhou paper became collages in many layers and were eventually put beneath wax.
The outcome is quite stunning. The wax gives the artwork a soft finish but the strong lines and drawings still stand out.
Because of the wax the artwork should not be hung in a place where strong sunlight shines on it all day. If this is taken care of these artworks will have the same life span as any other - forever!
I worked with ink, watercolour, graphite, oil and wax on paper fixed on wood.
