This oil painting, made on a linen canvas, conveys the atmosphere of the 'Côte d'Azur'( French riviera ) between Saint-Raphaël and Cannes. Red ochre rocks, Mediterranean vegetation (pine trees, agaves) blue sea and blue sky are typical elements of the area called 'Côte de l'Esterel'. A particular interest was paid to the contrasts between light and shade. Watercolors made in-situ were used as studies to realise this painting . This work is framed with a box and ready to hang.
