The latest in my pop art food series is this collection of colourful French macarons. There are eight of each of the iconic sweets in bright and vibrant colours. As usual the foods are based against my trademark light blue background.

The end result is a bold painting that would brighten up any room in your home, or would make an ideal gift for someone with a sweet tooth.

It is painted in acrylics on thick high quality A4 paper. PLEASE NOTE: the painting doesn't come framed, but I've taken photos of it in a white A4 frame for display purposes. So the fifth picture best shows what you'll be receiving. Message me separately for framed prices!

I've been inspired to create work like this by classic pop artists like Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Patrick Caulfield.
