I love all he different musical sounds composed in an orchestrated piece of music. The French Horn's beautiful sound is difficult to describe but the shiny brass with all the little keys and moving parts fascinate me and provided the inspiration to paint it in detail. All the complicated tubes crossing behind each other made me go a little cross-eyed but I kept painting and was able to capture what I wanted to on the canvas. This painting is full of life with its vibrant color on a neutral gray background, making the shades of red, orange, blue and green really pop. It's unframed and finished with painted edges. All needed hanging hardware is attached.
