A painting made en plein air in the Serre Chevalier area in the French alps.
It was a cold and crisp morning and I did have time to nip indoors every so often to grab a hot drink. The drawing was made first with thin charcoal then the colour was applied in thin layers of my favourite acrylic Golden open paint.
Materials used:
Charcoal and acrylic paint on clairefontaine heavy weight acrylic paper
