Based on the principles of Islamic design, how color and design relate to create tension and movement in the picture plane. I have always tried to increase the hold of a picture on the eye, to make work that does not require explanation but still retains the ability to compel contemplation. Here is one more step along many of these diractions.
This series of paintings were done free hand, fast, and straight from the can.
