Inspired by the scorching landscapes of the Tenerife island, this work was created as an homage to the traditional image of the cactus. This free-form painting is illustrative of the more abstract experimentation that Virtosu is working with in 2021. Based on the fantasy of psychedelic enlightenment, the cactus plants seem to pop-out of the canvas when set against the dark blue background.
The work compliments the artists' growing cactus series. The compact size of this painting makes it ideal for any contemporary home interior.
