Freedom? status, place, parentage and class are a birthright and curse. We all have a perceived place to inhabit in a world of prescribed, complex tangles of ideals we cannot control.
The tendrils of complex social conforms tether us to a set boundary which encapsulates and restricts from birth.
All possibility and I hear it’s the space around the cage. Is breaking out beyond possibility?
Dreams live in the space around our existence.


Carved American White wood. This sculpture is a representation of spiritual confinement. It is part of a collection, created over a fifteen year period to express emotion through the natural tactile medium.
