This is artwork "Free Souls". Birds are universally recognized symbols of freedom and peace, just as Ukraine is currently associated with freedom, the protection of democratic values, and, above all, the pursuit of peace. The symbol with which Ukraine is closely associated is our authentic embroidery. That's why I combined these different images, which now speak about the same thing—freedom!

I have been working on this art for about ten months, carefully selecting and combining bird and ornament. This art is of great importance to me, it reflects my inner state and thirst for freedom

Now, let me share what inspired me to create this series. I used to live in a big city located on the front line, where constant artillery shelling was a daily reality. Due to the war, I had to relocate to a small village in a safer region of Ukraine. It took me a while to recover from the intense emotions I had experienced. However, it was there that I truly understood the meaning of freedom. I had the opportunity to swim in a lake alongside wild swans, observe cranes walking freely in gardens, and witness pheasants running through the forest without paying any attention to me.

In the past, I had only seen these birds either in cages or tamed, but here, I witnessed them in their natural freedom. The harmony between humans and nature rekindled my zest for life.

I use brushes and a palette knife, a combination of methods give this art a variety of textures , and depths of space.

I cover the painting with waterproof and eco-friendly acrylic lacquer.

Painting ready to hang - the edges of the canvas are painted so it can be hanged with or without a frame as preferred.
I fasten the rope to hang the painting, before sending it.

I sign the certificate of authenticity, and put it inside the package.
My paintings are dispatched in safe package, via a tracked courier.
