I've always had a love of old school comedians who were very quick witted and full of innuendo. In the drawing I'm trying to create the sense of Frankie Howerd caught in the moment where he reacts and says something. He wasn't the world's most handsome figure but his personality made him someone who was much loved by all sorts of people.
