A favorite walk, a place of constant return, unchanging, the gentle assurance of history and memory. Here I find a wonderful café with cream cakes and silver tea pots and faded, retro beauty, A portal to another decade, to another time. I am transfixed by the blue and the pink stucco, and by the vivid colors of the shop fronts. This is my secret corner of London that forever belongs to me. The painting is a wonderful
gift of London and a perfect addition to any collection.
