This printed edition was selected for exhibition at the Derby Print Open 2022, 1-30 June, Green Door Printmaking Studios.

A mysterious figurative Barn Owl linocut print from my series of 'Five English Owls'. 
There is also a black and white version available in my listings. 

The Barn Owl is a much-loved bird, its beauty defined by its heart faced shape and beautiful colouring; its skilful silent flight when witnessed seems a gift just for the watcher. Its nocturnal life a secret which lends this bird mystery and supernatural associations with the night. 

Printed with Charbonnel oil-based printing ink on specialist printing paper, Zerkall 210 gsm. Coloured by hand with watercolour paint, which means each print is uniquely painted in this series.
Printed in a limited edition of 30. 
You will receive this framed print 10/30.

Glazing 3mm UV 100 Gallery Plexiglas Clear Acrylic Glazing which has UV protection greater than 99.7%, no inherent colour and is break resistant.
