A fragment of marks left on a wall of a thing, what were they once part of? Probably a writing or a work of a writer? Among other things, this little trace remains, which I wanted to resume by making a cast, a tear. A work within the work, therefore, a synecdoche, a part for the whole with its own expressive and compositional strength.
