The early hours of dawn and the secretive, mysterious hare trembles in the dewy grasses, edged in silver by the chill morning light. Hares fascinate me. They are the stuff of legend, their history interwoven with tales of witches and paganism. To see one unexpectedly in your path, as I did one late summer evening this year, sends a shiver of excitement up your spine as though you have witnessed a living symbol of rural mysticism.
'Fragile Light' has been produced with a mixture of coloured pencil and acrylic paint on tinted paper.
