I channel my enthusiasm for the amazing characteristics of animals by rendering them with academic oil painting techniques on canvas. The background is greyish green.

I created this surrealistic painting because I was attracted by the appealingly large, delicate eyes of this baby monkey. The motifs in this painting, the little monkey, the earth made of glass, and the mayfly, are all delicate and fragile. In order to protect fragile things, it is essential for us to recognize that these objects are easily breakable, and once they were broken, it may not be possible to fix them.
