Original artwork description:

We were travelling along the coast to Mallaig. A little layby appeared sandwiched between road and water and from the passenger seat I shouted 'hang on...stop! - pull over!'. The view down the loch was breathtaking.
We stood on the grassy bank over looking Loch Ailort. In front of us a bank of bracken and three enormous fox gloves. I have never seen any so large and so colourful. Perhaps it was the turquoise water of the loch or perhaps the bright green of the bracken. Either way I took photos and knew one day I would paint it.
The painting is supplied in a white mount and will fit a frame size 60cm x 60cm.
