Fox Watching is a small oil on board.
I live in a town where I feel very close to my natural surroundings. My bedroom window looks out over a field, where, if I'm lucky, I see a pair of foxes at dusk.
Sometimes I see one animal, sometimes two. They peep out from the perimeter trees, then if the coast is clear, make a run for it across the grass.
I always feel excited and privileged if I happen to look when the foxes are about. I wanted to make a little painting of the beautiful russet coloured creature waiting and watching from the safe gloom of the hedges.
The painting measures 17 cm x 12.5 cm. It comes in a white mount measuring 30 cm x 21 cm. Please note that it is a hand cut mount which I have made myself. I'm not a professional framer so the mount is as it comes.
The painting will be posted in a reinforced envelope using Royal Mail signed for service.
