Here is a fox in long grass, poised as he looks over his shoulder as a sound he's heard. I wanted to play with the colours of the fox, contrasting it to the heather and foliage around it so he both stands out and blends in.

The painting it oil on canvas board, mounted and framed in a solid wood frame, and housed behind acrylic glass.
