This is a large contemporary painting painted in an impressionistic style and painted in oils and undercoat in acrylic . It has a modern black frame with the painting floating on top. This is a stylish way of framing it and would look impressive in a modern interior. It was twilight and it was getting dark when I saw the fox in the lights from the road. There was a smattering of snow and the fox was trying to drink water this was highlighted in the passing head lights of the cars. There was a moon from which the light of captured the Fox. There was something magical about this scene and I managed to get a photo and worked up the picture next day in my studio. It is painted in dark blues and blacks with the silver light from the moon. The snow is picking out details of the trees. This painting is ready to hang and comes with a certificate of Authenticity
