Original artwork description:

I painted this series of paintings after visiting the Van Gogh exhibition in the National Gallery in London. They were showing 60 of his works which were done in the last two years of his life in Arles. It's very inspiring to see how a well known artist handles a simple subject like sunflowers. I painted the sunflowers in different states so that I could interpret the texture and feel of the flowers. It was done with thick oil paint and I enjoyed the lush butteriness of the paint which comes across in the final result

This painting is done on a rectangular canvas and it's unframed, so that it's easy to ship. It can very easily be hung.
