Four in the morning
I was up so early,
By chance,
The dawn light forming over the woodland,
Breaking through the silver grey clouds,
Sand strips fill the sky.

Words and expression of my experience waking up too early one morning in May.
This original expressive watercolour was created by my observation of the colours over where I live on the North Dorset to Wiltshire border.
