Original artwork description:

My love of Chimpanzees was the origine of my reason for wanting to paint this scene,which is the second in a series of Chimp paintings. The idea before creating this scene,inwhich I composed the Chimps,was to create a scene which captures the complicity and empathy they have for one another. The drawing process before painting took over a week as I was conciouis that the proportions had to be precise.
Please note that being as I work in acrylic on water colour paper,this painting will need to be mounted,framed behind glass,which will protect the painting from atmospheric grime.
